Excellence then is not an act but a habit.” With this in mind, I guide my students to follow the standards and strategies I use for myself to learn quickly and effectively to achieve excellence in musical quality, confidence and above all joy!

One-on-One in home lessons. Serving Coronado & the Cays.
Lessons offered either in my home or I will go to the students home depending on age, instrument and circumstances.
I teach from age 7 to never too late! Please inquire regarding children under the age of 7.
I also offer exam preparation for the California State Certificate of Merit® program.

I began my undergraduate musical studies in piano performance at age 16 at the Hartt School of Music, CT and thereafter at the Peabody Institute, Baltimore. My foremost teachers, were both students under the pianist and renowned pedagogue, Jozsef Gat at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. From them, I was thoroughly schooled in the Liszt’s approach to the instrument - which emphasizes a very natural relationship to the piano.
